2025 Kpop World Festival – Dance Competition

Dancers interested in participating in the Switzerland preliminaries must register online, submitting their performance videos along with necessary materials. Chosen dancers are invited to compete in the Kpop World Festival in Lausanne (Grande salle de Prilly).

In addition to physical prizes, the first-place winners will earn the prestigious title of official representatives of Switzerland in the KPOP World Festival, held in Changwon, South Korea. This makes the opportunity even more significant for the winners, as they’ll not only represent Switzerland but also have the chance to perform on a global stage alongside top K-Pop talent from around the world.*

How the Kpop World Festival Works

1. Online Submission (Pre-Selection) – Dancers interested in participating in the Switzerland preliminaries must register online, submitting their performance videos along with necessary materials. Preselected dancers are invited to compete in the festival.

2. Kpop World Festival in Lausanne (Switzerland Preliminary) – Selected dancers compete live in Lausanne and will be judge by profesionnals. The event will take place on June 15th 2025 in Grande Salle de Prilly, Lausanne. Winners will be announced on that day, at the end of the event at the prize ceremony.

3. Online Round (Global Selection)* – Regional winners submit a new performance video for the official KBS online selection, where judges evaluate contestants from across the globe.

4. Final Round in Korea* – Finalists will travel to Korea with all travel and accommodation costs covered by KBS, where they’ll compete in the grand finals against the top K-pop cover teams from around the world!

Judges

Yuchari (Switzerland)

Yuchari is a dynamic Singer-Songwriter, DJ, and Producer based in Zurich, with 5 years of stage experience and a journey that transitioned from dancer to music powerhouse. Known for her expertise in K-pop and K-HipHop, she has earned a reputation as a versatile DJ who sets the vibe internationally.

With 15 years of songwriting experience, she has collaborated with both Swiss and international artists, crafting hits like “Chli Love” (2023) and “Not That Deep” (2024). Whether she’s electrifying crowds with her DJ sets or creating infectious tracks, Yuchari brings an unmatched energy and passion for rhythm and movement, making her the perfect addition to our judging panel.

Levy (Germany)

Levy is a talented Dance Teacher, Performer, and Choreographer with over 10 years of experience in various dance styles, including Hip Hop, Ballet, and Contemporary. She has actively participated in Kpop Dance Contests in Germany for 8 years and is part of a dance cover group, “Deviation.”

With a solid foundation in dance education from a renowned school in Hamburg, she has also worked on several German music videos, combining her skills in dance and acting. As the winner of the Changwon World Festival 2024, she continues to inspire and push boundaries in the dance world.

Bboy Issue (Switzerland)

Kwangsuk Park, an iconic performer and choreographer, also known as Bboy Issue, began his journey into dance as a young boy in Suwon, Korea. By blending breakdance with elements of martial arts, contemporary dance, Korean traditional dance, and street dance, he gained international recognition for his innovative and experimental approach.
As a performer, Kwangsuk Park combines a high level of technical and creative skills with a strong emotional presence. Working in the space between breakdance and contemporary dance, his artistic ambition has brought him to theatre stages all over Europe and Asia.
